> but the ATV is not so far away compared to my MC based video renderer! And the video renderer cost 4 x the price of the ATV. The ATV UI with the remote is from a UX PoV top notch (also compared to my LG SMART TV) - I use the amazon prime app only from my ATV

the views concept in MC is much, much better then the folder concept used by Infuse it is not transparent in ATV which bit depth and sample frequency are processed Has anyone found an App for Apple TV that can play Atmos / DTS:X from a DLNA server My Use Case: Im running a 7.1.4 (11.1 channel) speaker configuration. a key disadvantage of using the ATV is that audio has to go through HDMI (AQ Carbon) to the TV and then via optical to my Devialet -> the sound quality of using MC as a video renderer and using Devialet Air as audio protocol is so much better regarding sound quality (richness, details, 3D dimension) in all music concerts (29i content) I have, the movement of actors is significant slowed down in ATV compared to RO HQ (simply perfect) 29i BD mkv content is difficult to play through the ATV (the picture is kind of nervous) - and I have plenty of 29i content Simply download Plex for Mac here, follow the on-screen instructions and point the app to the folder on your Mac where your video files are stored. Currently the ATV would not replace my MC based video renderer (Audio is played directly from MC server via Devialet AIR to my Devialet). I have also parallel to the ATV an MC based Video Renderer in my Living room. I have not spend much effort and time in optimizing Infuse. I have the Apple TV 4K and I have also the Infuse App and integrated it with my MC based media server. Infuse App is an example to get it done to a certain extend.
